Firebolt is a beautifully put together, substantial boy with terrific movement. Excellent legs and feet, he's totally correct. Firebolt's very willing and intelligent; awesome temperament, he loves his people and is the last standing at the gate watching us go. What we love most about Firebolt is his sweet, people friendly demeanor, which is a trademark of this cross.
Full brother Alvesta Lil Tuck has begun his harness career with flying colors, we can't wait to watch him progress with his new owner Brian McClelland. Another full sibling, Alvesta Bubblicious is very simliar to Firebolt with his great personality, looks and movement which is why we have retained her, she's one of our favorites. With Firebolt's beautiful movement and kind willing attitude, he would excel in harness or under saddle; he is solid enough for a small adult to ride. Monte will make an excellent ridden pony. He has a wonderful temperament - curious and bold, as well as very intelligent, he's a quick study. Monte loves attention and would sedately follow us around the pasture all day if he could. Good legs and feet, he's also a lovely mover, and from a family of ponies with natural "jump."
Out of his dam, his half sister Alvesta Spicy Thyme is jumping competitively in BC, and his half brother Alvesta Manroe the Giant is also an up-and-coming star under saddle. Full brother Alvesta Ready to Roll (on our gallery page) is also beginning a ridden career in Ontario. Monte's dam, Alvesta Buttons N Bows, has been our kid's beloved riding mare, and has competed successfully in shows (under saddle/in harness/in hand) as well as for fun in pony club and fairs. Imported sire *Cadlan Valley Pirate is a many-time Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion, as well as having received the highest recognition available in the very competitive Sport Pony category. Full sister Alvesta Sweet N Spicy is our treasured many time Grand Champion, and as a young mare she's already proving herself to be an excellent broodmare. Following the family example, Diabolo has a wonderful temperament. Very sweet and fearless, "Bolo" loves attention. Sired by multi Supreme Champion *Cadlan Valley Pirate and out of our halter and performance Champion mare Buttons, Diabolo will excel in the showring. Beautiful body and movement as Buttons always produces and a very pretty little head, totally conformationally correct. Diabolo looks as though he's got a lot of growth in him. A great stallion and performance prospect with his temperament, quality and bloodlines.
