Section A Stallion

Gwyn has matured into a gorgeous stallion with the "Coed Coch" stamp.  He has awesome floating movement with powerful extension which he passes on to his offspring.  While still in Wales, Gwyn placed 2nd in his Yearling Colt class at the Royal Welsh Show out of over 50 shown.  Although here in Canada he has had very limited showing, Gwyn is a multi Supreme Champion, much to our pride. 

Gwyn was 2008 and 2009 Provincial, Western Regional, and National Champion Section A 3 & Over Stallion with the WPCSC High Point system!  Additionally, he was 2009 WPCSC Section A Sire of the Year, and 2nd 2008 WPCSC Section A Sire of the Year!  Sire of Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion ponies Alvesta Caris and Alvesta Bliss, and Grand Champions such as Alvesta Gwyndaf and Coyote Run Eamon.  Feature photo taken in 2009 after winning Supreme Champion under both judges at the Parkland show.

His second show season - 2009 - marked Gwyn as a multi Supreme Champion!  At the All Breed Pony Show in Cochran, AB, in 2009, we decided to enter Gwyn in the competitive Sport Pony class (3 years & over, Stallions & Geldings 13.2hh & Under) for the first time.   Both judge Suellen Deane and Anthony Deane (Australia) placed Gwyn 1st out of 8 quality ponies!

Pirate’s fluid reaching movement and all-around charisma and beauty are the reason people say “magnificent” when they see him.  At home, the reasons we value him beyond measure are his kind, gentle demeanor and charming personality, along with his beautiful Welsh type and lovely foals. 

Pirate has excelled in the showring from his early successes in the foal classes in Wales, to the present as a mature stallion.  He's been awarded multiple Supreme and Reserve Supreme Championships, and additionally, his offspring are winning in-hand and under saddle, and in Get of Sire classes.  Our show seasons are very limited, but Pirate has definitely taken advantage of his time in the ring.   He dominates not only the Welsh breeding classes, but also the very competitive Sport Pony category - taking the highest recognition available: Grand Champion Sport Pony.  We are very excited about his get and grandget's accomplishments in the showring, proving him to be an outstanding sire of both Welsh and crossbreds.  Standing at 13.1hh. 

Again in 2008 Pirate came home with Supremes, and earned high point awards in Provincial, Western Regional, and National Champion Section B 3 & Over Stallion!  Also, Pirate was on the 2008 WPCSC Section B Sire of the Year Ratings! 

WIth all his wonderful offspring to show, we are forfeiting his space in the trailer for them.  They did him proud, their points making him 2009 WPCSC 2nd Section B Sire of the Year!

Cwrtycadno Cymro x Polaris Dorcas by Paddock Mystral

Tarquin is a very exciting addition to our herd.  We have long admired Cwrtycadno Cymro and his offspring from afar, so we are extremely pleased to have had the opportunity to bring over such a promising colt by him and out of the lovely, and exceptionally well-bred mare Polaris Dorcas (considered one of the top two Section B mares of the Countess of Dysart's famous Polaris Stud).  Sadly, Tarquin is Dorcas's last foal as she passed away the winter after weaning him.  Photo at 14 months old.
