Recent News and Updates

• We have another lovely mare to add to our Section B broodmare band, be sure to check her out! 

• With very limited showing summer of 2009, our Section A stallion *Nerwyn Gwyn was named Supreme Champion three times!

• Congrats to Hallmark Welsh with Hallmark Nobility (2009 show season) by *Cadlanvalley Pirate, winning Futurity Supreme Champion Youngstock!  Also winning Junior Champion Colt & Res. Grand Champion Stallion!

• Spring of 2009 - Congratulations to Lisa & Charlotte with their beautiful filly!  *Cadlanvalley Pirate x Alvesta Heather Belle

• Alvesta Farm was named 2008 Leading Canadian Breeder!

• Spring has arrived and with it... foals!!  Our foals consist of two fillies and two colts, all of them can be seen on our 2009 Foals page.  We were lucky enough to breed to the lovely imported stallion Mynach Mystical before he left the province, and the result was a beautiful palomino colt, already a Champion that we're very excited about.  Our final foal this spring arrived June 19, a filly!  What a great way to end the season!

• Fall of 2008 we brought in an addition to our herd from the Llanarth stud, check him out on our youngstock page 

• In 2008 we were granted another wonderful show season, although short as usual, it was very successful. Please click on Our 2008 Champions to view the ponies showring accomplishments this year.

• On another showring note, we very much enjoyed introducing our two year old granddaughter Eva Violet Zittlaw to the showring... even though she slept through her first costume class!!  Thanks to Randy & Mary James for letting us use Alvesta Lil Tuck for the costume class with Eva, they were adorable!  They're also pictured on Our 2008 Champions
